Kuba Cloth - extra long
Kuba cloth is woven from the strands of raffia palm leaves. The raffia strands are then dyed in a variety of earth tones using vegetable dyes The process of transforming the leaves into cloth is a time consuming one: a single placemat, for example, can take up to several days to complete!
Graphically distinctive and richly evocative of central Africa, our Kuba cloth is handwoven in the Congo. Our customers generally use Kuba as a decorative floor mat or table cover. We ship whatever style we currently have in stock but you can call us at (646)301-971 if you have a specific preference.
Dimensions: 22”x 156”
